Asbestos-Free Alternatives & Export Compliance
Why asbestos is no longer an option
Asbestos fiber is banned or strictly regulated in the EU, North America, Australia and many other markets (e.g. EU Regulation 1272/2013, US TSCA). Distributors shipping to these regions must supply certified asbestos-free materials.

Compliance notes for exporters
- Request a material declaration and, where required, a third-party test report (e.g. SEM or TEM fiber analysis).
- Keep markings and invoices consistent — "asbestos-free" must be defensible by documentation.
- For the EU, confirm REACH status of any chemical impregnation used in the product.
Our product names use the "Dust Free" label only where the manufacturing process genuinely minimizes loose fiber; we do not market asbestos-containing goods.
